Titel: Frequency of flood events and their influence on the occurrence of microplastics – A case study in a floodplain of the Rhine river in Cologne, Germany

Fragestellung: The general impact of different flood frequencies and events on the occurrence of microplastics and the concrete impact to the case study in Merkenich Langel

Methodik:

• spatial analysis with QGis and MIKE software by DHI, using ALS data
• temporal analysis with R, with focus on the frequency of flood events of the Rhine over the years
