All major field excursions have one thing in common: they provide students with in-depth insights into specialist geographical knowledge and the contexts of specific development processes and structures, other societies and cultures. Excursions expand theoretical and conceptual knowledge from university courses with real-life, practical perspectives. The students work and explore together, understanding, discussing and reflecting on technical and social challenges in depth under the guidance of the lecturers.
